WRUP: All DPS Players Are Sharks Edition

It's the right time to tell you a truth many MMO players don't know: All DPS players can be considered sharks. You might be wondering why a lot of DPS are glued to the chant "GOGOGO" because they know that slowed down for even one second can cause them to die. They're required to keep swimming and killing. This is what MMOs are doing to the sharks of the world. Don't ask how a shark is capable of typing or playing the game. You just need to realize that the rogue who does not wait for the tank or the healer, or even the other DPS cannot avoid doing what is happening. He's shark.



One of the Massively staff members could be a shark, however I can neither confirm nor confirm or deny it. Perhaps they reveal his or his or her status as a shark in this week's WRUP or maybe it's just our usual review of our weekend plans as usual. It's not clear until you read further but you can let us know what you're up to down in the comments regardless.



@Beau_Hindman I'm definitely playing more State of Decay. Minecraft-servers.biz is amazing and is definitely one of my top favorites for single-player games of the year. For MMORPGs I'm experimenting with the boundaries of Minecraft's MMO-ness, I'll be enjoying the latest patch for DC Universe Online, and I'll also be getting some action in Neverwinter which I believe is one of the most stunning and -sounding MMOs available right now.



@nbrianna: I returned to World of Warcraft with a bunch of guildies, so I'll be leveling some old toons and checking out some Pandaria Dungeons I've never explored. It should be entertaining!



@Eliot_Lefebvre: World of Warcraft is currently my game of choice in my side slot, and though there are a lot of elements which I'm not entirely satisfied with, I'm enjoying myself. Beyond that, there's going to be more Final Fantasy XIV questing to complete and various endgame snarky jollities to participate in, which is why that will be my primary focus.



@Sypster I don't have any big plans for the weekend. I'm currently in the countdown mode of Lord of the Rings Online Helm's Deep. I'm likely to play additional scenarios in The Secret World, and perhaps even play some of the World of Warcraft stuff the youngsters love these days.



@mvmatt: I have a weekend plan that includes soup, schoolwork and, if lucky some video games. I'll be playing Warhammer Online, to remind myself why it was canceled and to reminisce about the amazing things that almost made it stay, before the servers close next month. Aside from that I'd love to get some time in with Guild Wars 2 and The Secret World which are both games which I've been neglecting for a long time. Maybe perhaps, I'll cap some fools in Battlefield 4.



@MikedotFoster: This weekend I'm looking into the Three Spirits Dota 2 update. I'll also be back in World of Warcraft, as the Warlords of Draenor announcement has me excited once more.



@MJ_Guthrie: I plan to concentrate most of my gaming time (and I'll be playing whatever it is!) trying to do more in the battle against Filth in The Secret World. I am a sucker for the pet and bee suit so desperately that I don't know how to get enough tokens. But I'll try! Did I mention I am stubborn? When not engaged in that I will be slipping into a scenario or two and experimenting with new builds. I will also be spending the weekend deciding which race to use for my first Channeler in EverQuest II. It has been narrowed down to Ratonga or Kerra. After that, it'll take me only 30 hours to customize the appearance. The name is just the beginning.



@RichieProcopio: This weekend, I'll be intoxicated and hallucinating. I'm not going to a frat gathering. I'll be in the Tower of Nightmares in Guild Wars 2 to see what Scarlet and her new serpentine comrades have been doing in Kessex Hills. Oh and Hearthstone!
