Bayrock Group's Journey: from the Suburbs up to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group was founded by Tevfik Arif and quickly found it working in Manhattan along with the Trump Organization.

Bayrock Group Moves: From Suburbs, to Manhattan
Many dream of visiting the United States and live the American dream. But very few are able to make it happen. Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik Ari was in America when he set up Bayrock Group in America in 2001.

The Bayrock Group is an exclusive real estate development company that works in New York City.

The company's initial focus was on small-to-medium-sized projects, such as the redesigning of Loehmann's Seaport Plaza - a shopping mall located in Brooklyn's Sheepshead neighbourhood.

After making inroads within the American housing market, Bayrock Group was ready to expand and started looking for projects with a large scope.

The Arif-led organization started working with Sapir Organization in a new huge construction on Spring Street in New York City.

Bayrock Group decided to move its headquarters to Midtown Manhattan due to its expansion.

Bayrock Group teams up with the Trump Organization
Tevfik Amir and his team were in contact with members of the Trump Organization in the process. They also used the Trump Tower for their base.

Talks began between Bayrock Group & the Trump Organization after both companies realized that they shared several common concerns.

The partnership was formed between the two companies. The Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group as well as Sapir Organization's Spring Street project.

The Trump Organization was then managed by the former president of America, Donald Trump.

In 1927, his paternal grandmother Elizabeth Christ Trump and his father Fred Trump established the organization known as E. Trump and Son.

Donald Trump, who was about to enter into the White House, handed the management of the firm to his children in 2017.

The partnership between the Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization was a relatively recent part of New York City's real estate market.

Tevfik Ariff, founder of Spring Street, created an arrangement to increase brand recognition and prestige.

In return for the Trump brand that is used in the construction's title, the Trump Organization would receive 18% equity in this building according to his proposal.


The three businesses involved signed on to the deal. In 2006, the first foundation stone was laid for what would become Trump SoHo.

Two years later, Bayrock Group (the Trump Organization) as well as the Sapir Organization created Trump SoHo to add to New York City's skyline.

Design professionals take over Trump SoHo
The 46 stories of Trump SoHo featured elite eateries and bars along with banquet and event rooms, pools that are open to the air and event halls, spa facilities, apartments and hotel suites.

Visitors to Trump SoHo and residents could admire the stunning views of New York City via the floor-to roof windows that were put in on every floor.

Handel Architects was entrusted by Trump SoHo to design the exterior of the building, and the three buildings were centered on perfection.

Handel Architects is a respected company with a varied portfolio. Tevfik Arif Doyen Among other projects, the National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York City and Rosewood Hotel Residence in Abu Dhabi are just a couple.

Rockwell Group designed Trump SoHo’s interiors. Through the many years, Rockwell Group has overseen the design of various extravagant hotels, cafes, bars and theatres throughout the world.

Their work includes their work at the Tower Hotel and Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, India and the 93rd Academy Award show.

Bayrock Group expands the partnership
Trump SoHo was an immediate success, and it led to Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization to explore the possibility of expanding their collaboration.

Their goal was to build buildings in Arizona and Florida as Trump SoHo under the same conditions as Trump SoHo. In exchange for the Trump brand being applied to their names, it will give the Trump Organization an 18% part of the building. Tevfik Arif Doyen Again.

Bayrock Group was prepared, like the Trump Organization. They could plan , however the financial meltdown of 2008 that seriously affected the American real estate market slows them down.

The American housing market was severely affected by the financial crisis. Tevfik Aif, founder of Bayrock Group, decided to abandon his American ventures. Arif made the choice to move to Europe or Asia, where his career started decades earlier.

Bayrock Group's Tevfik arif has retired from active participation, but he continues to be an expert advisor to various divisions.
