Bayrock Group's journey from the Suburbs, to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group, a luxury real estate development company driven by Tevfik Arif, found itself rapidly working in conjunction with the Trump Organization in Manhattan.

Bayrock Group Moves From Suburbs To Manhattan
Many people dream of going to America to live the American dream. However, only a handful of people do. Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik Ark was one of the few who made it to America in 2001 to set his own Bayrock Group.

The Bayrock Group is a luxury real estate development firm that operates within and around New York City.

The company's initial focus was on smaller-to-medium-sized projects like the revamping of Loehmann's Seaport Plaza - a shopping mall in Brooklyn's Sheepshead neighborhood.

The Arif-driven business began working with Sapir Organization on a major construction project on Spring Street, New York City.

Bayrock Group moved its headquarters from the Bayrock Tower in Midtown Manhattan because of the business's rapid growth.


Bayrock Group joins forces with the Trump Organization
As a result of the move, Tevfik Arif and his team were able to meet with the Trump Organization, which also had the Trump Tower as its base.

Conversations were held between Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization when the two firms found out that they shared interests and goals.

The two firms formed a cooperation, where the Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group's project with the Sapir Organization on Spring Street.

The Trump Organization was then run by the former American president Donald Trump.

E. Tevfik Arif Bayrock Trump and Son was founded by his maternal grandma Elizabeth Christ Trump and Fred Trump (in 1927).

Donald Trump gave control of the company management to his family members in the year 2017 as he was about for the White House.

Bayrock Group's lucrative deal
The cooperation between the Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization was a relatively new part of New York City's real estate market.

According to him, Trump Organization would obtain 18% equity for the building in return of having the Trump logo in the title.

Bayrock Group extends the partnership with the Trump Organization
Trump SoHo was an immediate success, and it prompted Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization to consider expanding their cooperation.

Their dream was for Trump SoHo buildings to be constructed in Arizona and Florida. They had similar terms as Trump SoHo. As a compromise the Trump Organization would receive 18 percent equity in this structure, in exchange to using the Trump brand. Again, this time.
