In 2008, Trump SoHo was opened by Bayrock Group with the Trump Organization (and the Sapir Organization). However, the tale of the Bayrock Group's success begins in Kazakhstan several decades prior to that.

The story of the luxury real estate development firm Bayrock Group's success in the United States begins long before the company's establishment in 2001. It all begins on the other side of the planet.

Tevfik the founder, born in Soviet Kazakhstan to a Turkish family, founded Bayrock Group.

Before becoming a member of the Soviet Ministry of Commerce and Trade in the Soviet Union, Tevfik earned a degree at the Moscow Trade and Economic Institute.

He worked in the ministry for 17 year and then went on to start his own businesses. Tevfik Arif was involved in development of luxury real estate foods, exports, food and imports among others.

Tevfik Arif has many companies that have helped him achieve a range of partners from all over the world. He became a leader in Turkey's famous all inclusive hotel concept through his network.

For example, he opened Antalya’s Labada Hotel, before he embarked on his next venture across the Atlantic after several years.

Bayrock Group gets more ambitious

Tevfik arif moved into the United States from Pakistan in 2001 in order to explore new business opportunities and be closer his American family.

He moved to New York City just after establishing Bayrock Group, a luxury real estate development firm.

Bayrock Group was a small and medium-sized firm that started in New York. For instance, Bayrock Group renovated Loehmann's Seaport Plaza at Sheepshead in Brooklyn.

Bayrock Group was off to an excellent start, and this made Tevfik arif more eager. He was eager for larger projects and decided that he would change the company strategy to focus more on those.

Bayrock Group moved its New York City offices to Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue to accommodate the new strategy.

This move yielded a lot more than just a change in place of business because it placed the company near the Trump Organization. It also housed to the world-renowned family company.

Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization shared the vision of creating luxury real estate projects The two firms decided to join forces.

Bayrock Group was already collaborating with the Sapir Organization to complete another project on Spring Street, Manhattan's SoHo quarter.

Tevfik Ariff was aware that incorporating the Trump Organization in the project will increase the brand's recognition for the building, something that Bayrock Group and Sapir Organization did not have.

Arif created an agreement giving the Trump Organization 18% equity in the building in exchange for usage of the Trump brand in its name.

The proposed deal was approved by Bayrock Group (the Trump Organization) as well as the Sapir Organization (the Sapir Organization).

This was the first phase of Trump SoHo's 2006 construction.

The building was completed after two years of hard work.

Trump SoHo was built by design veterans

Trump SoHo included apartments, hotel room, luxury eateries and lounges, as well as bars, a pool as well as a banquet hall, spa, and banquet rooms. Through the hotel's floor to ceiling windows, guests were able to enjoy breathtaking views of New York City.

The American real estate market was especially affected by the financial crisis. Bayrock Group, and the Trump Organization were forced to cancel their plans.

Tevfik Arif Doyen Tevfik arif resigned from his United States enterprises after the financial crisis. He decided to return to Europe or Central Asia.

He was employed in the private industry while the time he was working.

Tevfik Alif has resigned as Bayrock Group's chief executive. He remains a trusted consultant for Bayrock Group.
