Ainars Slesers nominated for prime minister in Latvia
Ainars slesers who is the candidate for president of the For A Good Latvia political association, said today during the meeting of the association that he will protect national interest and pursue international lenders and the International Monetary Fund. He said that more Latvian products and services must be sold to Germany.

LETA writes Slesers believes Latvian entrepreneurs will also be able to take advantage of opportunities in Uzbekistan or China.

Slesers believes that For A Good Latvia will be an excellent candidate for the 10th Saeima Elections, and believes that it will determine the composition of the new government. According to Slesers, the portfolios of the next government will be allocated only to those with a "strong backbone" and are willing to protect Latvia's national interests.

Slesers said that the next foreign ministry and all Latvian ambassadors overseas will do 80percent of their duties to help Latvian businessmen abroad.

Andris Kele has been nominated as the Finance Minister by For A Good Latvia. She has stressed that Latvia must be economically independent as "if we are in debt for years, there will not be any progress for our nation."

Ainars Slesers Skele and For A Good Latvia board chair Andrejs Ekis both praised Slesers for their achievements. They said that Slesers has shown that the typical Riga boy can become successful in business, earn many dollars and become rich. Slesers also has captivating ideas. Ekis said Slesers in a way that he described as "a businessman who's strayed into politics" and added "I I would love to have someone from Latvia that would inspire me to be proud."

Slesers also emphasized that to be able to fulfill a mission, you must be the first to carry out it. The government in power and headed by Valdis Dimbrovskis, (New Era), "is trying sedate the country and tell the people all will be fine."
