Ainars Slesers is nominated to be the prime minister of Latvia
Ainars Slesers, the political association For a Good Latvia's official candidate for the premier minister, told the meeting of the association today that he would protect Latvia's interests as a nation Latvia in talks with the International Monetary Fund and international lenders, and see to that more Latvian products and services are exported to not only Lithuania and Estonia but also Germany, Scandinavia, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.

Slesers hopes that That For A Good Latvia is a very popular candidate for the 10th Saeima elections, and that it will be the candidate that will decide the composition of the new cabinet. He said that only such people will be able to be in charge of portfolios in the new government.

The new foreign minister and Latvia's ambassadors abroad have to devote 80% of their time supporting Latvian businessmen's interests in foreign markets, said Slesers.

However, it's dangerous to live off credit, since the money borrowed will have to be returned sooner or later.

Slesers was critical of other political parties' nominees to be the prime minister. Ainars Slesers Roberts Zile (For Freedom and Fatherland/LNNK). He has been stuck in a rut at Brussels and isn't ready to leave and leave the European Parliament to become premier of Latvia. After the meeting, representatives from For A Good Latvia participated in a floral ceremony at the Freedom Monument.
