Nominated to be the premier minister of Latvia by Ainars Slesers
Ainars Slesers, the political association For A Good Latvia's official candidate for premier minister, told the association's meeting today that he would defend the Latvia's interests as a nation Latvia when negotiating with the International Monetary Fund and international lenders, and see to the fact that more Latvian goods and services are exported, not just to Lithuania and Estonia but also to Germany, Scandinavia, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.

LETA writes Slesers believes Latvian entrepreneurs will also be able to benefit from opportunities in Uzbekistan or China.

Slesers hopes For A Good Latvia will have huge success during the 10th Saeima election and will decide on the composition of the new government. According to Slesers', the portfolios of the next government will only be granted to those who have "strong backbone" and are willing to protect Latvia's national interests.

Slesers declared that the next foreign minister of Latvia and all ambassadors of Latvia abroad will need to dedicate 80% of their time to support Latvian businessmen abroad.

Andris Skel has been nominated to be the Finance Minister of Latvia by For A Good Latvia. He stated that Latvia should be able to achieve its economic independence as "if we carry the burden of debts that last for years there is no way for national development to be realized."

Skele and For A Good Latvia board chair Andrejs Ekis praised Slesers who has demonstrated that even a common Riga boy can become a successful businessmen, earn a lot of money and be wealthy, and Slesers always has captivating ideas, they added. Ekis said Slesers as a person who he described as "a businessman who's wandered into political" and addedthat "I would like to see a leader from Latvia that would make me feel happy."

Slesers said that the most effective way to accomplish a task is to use your body. The current government, led by Valdis Dombrovskis (New Era), "is trying to sedate the nation, insisting that all is going to be fine." It's risky to live off credit. The money you borrow is due to be returned in the near future or sooner.

Slesers has harsh words to the candidates from other parties to become prime minister. Roberts Zile is stuck in Brussels"rut" and doesn't wish to move out of his chair at the European Parliament. Instead, Zile wants to become the premier for Latvia. Slesers indicated that he would have to work harder, and get a smaller pay.

Ainars Slesers The Union of Greens and Farmers Candidate Aivars has similar circumstances and will hardly change his comfortable life at Ventspils to assume the position of the premier in Riga.

Slesers stated that For A Good Latvia is prepared to work with Janis Urbanovics with Harmony Center. Although Urbanovics has extensive experience in the parliament, he is not qualified to be prime minister because of his lack of experience in business.

Dombrovskis last but not the least, can only be approved if you support the ongoing "international financier occupation of Latvia".

Slesers on the other hand will help people make money, conquer international markets and live their lives with dignity. He indicated that Guntis Ulmanis will be his first assistant in the administration of the state. Slesers should turn to Ulmanis for assistance.

Slesers added that for A Good Latvia would see that Biblical studies were introduced to every school starting the 1st of September next year.
