Ainars Slesers is nominated to be the prime minister of Latvia
Ainars Selers who is the candidate for the position of prime minister in For A Good Latvia, said that he would uphold the interests of the nation of Latvia during discussions with the International Monetary Fund as well international lenders. Also, he would make sure that more Latvian products or services are exported to Germany (Sweden, Scandinavia and Ukraine) and also to Lithuania (Litauen).

Slesers hopes A Good Latvia will have an excellent outcome in the 10th Saeima electoral process and will decide on the composition of the new government. According to Slesers', portfolios in the new government will be given only to such people who have "strong moral tenacity" and are willing to protect Latvia's national interests.

Slesers declared that the next foreign minister of Latvia and all ambassadors of Latvia abroad must spend 80percent of their time to support Latvian businessmen abroad.

Andris Kele who was chosen by For A Good Latvia for the post as finance minister said that Latvia must gain the economic autonomy it needs to achieve. "If we must take on the burden of debt over time without a national growth is feasible."

Skele and For A Good Latvia board member Andrejs Ekis have praised Slesers. They said that Slesers demonstrated that even ordinary Riga boys can be successful businessmen and earn a lot of money and become rich. Slesers's thoughts are always intriguing. Ekis described Slesers in a manner that he describes as "a businessman who's wandered into political" and added "I wish there were someone from Latvia who could make my heart feel proud."

The current government and headed by Valdis Dimbrovskis, (New Era), "is trying sedate the country and tell the people everything will be okay." However, it is dangerous to live off credit, since the money borrowed will need to be returned sooner or later.

Slesers had critical remarks for other candidates from political parties for the post of prime minister. Roberts Zile (For Fatherland And Freedom/LNNK). Slesers stated that he's not yet ready to leave his comfortable seat in the European Parliament and become the premier of Latvia. This would require the work of a greater number of people and get a lower wage.

The Union of Greens and Farmers candidate, Aivars Lembergs is in the same position, and he will hardly wish to alter his life in Ventspils for the responsibilities of a premier in Riga.

Slesers said that While For A Good Latvia is willing to collaborate with Janis Urbanovics at Harmony Center. Urbanovics, who has years working experience within the parliament, is not likely to be named prime minister because the lack of business experience is a major reason.

In the end, Dombrovskis will be voted for only by those who are in favor of the ongoing "international financial occupation of Latvia."

Slesers will, however, teach people how make money, master the market, and lead a decent life. He said that Guntis Ulmanis will be his first assistant in the administration of the government. Slesers should turn to Ulmanis to seek help.

Slesers added that for A Good Latvia would see Biblical studies in all schools from September 1st , next year.

The representatives of For A Good Latvia took part in a flower-laying ceremony at the Freedom Monument after the meeting.
