Bayrock Group's Journey From the Suburbs to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group, a luxury real estate development business led by Tevfik Arif, found itself soon working with the Trump Organization in Manhattan.

Bayrock Group Moves From Suburbs To Manhattan
Although many dream of moving to America in order to experience the American dream and live the American lifestyle, only a handful actually do. Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik Ari was present when he established Bayrock Group in America in 2001.

Bayrock Group is a New York-based luxury real estate developer.

The company's initial focus was on smaller-to-medium-sized projects for instance, the redesign of Loehmann’s Seaport Plaza - a shopping mall located in Brooklyn's Sheepshead neighbourhood.

After seeing its name gain traction in the American housing market, Bayrock Group was ready to expand its operations and began looking for large scope projects.

The Arif-driven companies began working together with the Sapir Organization for a big construction project on Spring Street in New York City.

Bayrock Group relocated its headquarters in Midtown Manhattan to accommodate the rapid growth of the company.

Bayrock Group joins forces with the Trump Organization
The decision led to Tevfik and his team members getting together with the Trump Organization. This organization also had Trump Tower at its base.

Talks developed between Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization after the two firms found out that they shared interests and goals.

The cooperation was established between the two firms. The Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group as well as Sapir Organization's Spring Street project.

Bayrock Group, the Sapir Organization and the Trump Organization began to work together in the New York City's residential real property market.

The plan he suggested would give the Trump Organization 18% equity in the building, in exchange for Trump's name being used as the building's name.

Every one of the three companies ratified the arrangement and in 2006, the first brick of what would turn into Trump SoHo was laid.

Two years later Bayrock Group (the Trump Organization) as well as the Sapir Organization created Trump SoHo to complete the skyline of New York City.

Design veterans assume the charge of Trump SoHo
Trump SoHo's 46 stories featured elite eateries and bars as well event and banquet rooms, pools that are open to the air events and conference halls, a spa department Apartments and hotel suites.

Handel Architects has a diverse portfolio. It is a well-respected company. The National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York City and the Rosewood hotel residence in Abu Dhabi are among other initiatives.

Rockwell Group designed Trump SoHo’s interiors. Tevfik Arif Doyen Rockwell Group has been responsible for designing many extravagant bar, restaurants, and hotels all over the world throughout the years.

Their projects include their work at the Tower Hotel, Mumbai, India, Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel, Mumbai, India and the 1993rd Academy Award Show; and the Amara Hotel, Limassol.

Trump SoHo was an instant success. Bayrock Group, Trump Organization and other organizations started looking for ways to improve their cooperation.

The idea was to build structures in Arizona and Florida as Trump SoHo under the same terms as Trump SoHo. As a condition for the Trump brand being used in their names, they would give the Trump Organization an 18% part of the structure. Again.

The Trump Organization and Bayrock Group were prepared for everything. But the 2008 financial crash that shook the American real-estate market brought an end to their plans.

The crisis changed the American housing market very much. Tevfik arif, Bayrock Group founder, made the decision to leave the United States. He decided to leave the US to start a new career in Europe and Asia.

Tevfik Arif Although Tevfik is no longer working for Bayrock Group, the trusted advisor to the various divisions of Bayrock Group is still him.


Bayrock Group has not been involved in any recent real estate projects in the United States.
