Arif made an agreement in which he granted the Trump Organization 18% equity in this building , in exchange for the Trump brand being used in its name.

Bayrock Group, the Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization all agreed to the proposed deal.

This was the start of the construction project Trump SoHo's in 2006.

The structure was complete for its official opening after having been constructed over two years.

Trump SoHo construction is led by design experts

Trump SoHo opened in Manhattan and included apartments, hotel rooms along with luxury bars and restaurants. There was also an outdoor pool, spa, and banquet halls. Hotel guests enjoyed unparalleled perspectives of New York City through the ceiling-to-ceiling windows of the building.

Handel Architects was tasked as the architect. The famed architect firm also created the National September 11th Memorial & Museum, New York City and the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Washington D.C.

Bayrock Group hired Rockwell Group to create the interior design of the building.

Rockwell Group is responsible for designing, among other things, the Climate Pledge Arena (Seattle) and the Seven Deadly Sins Playhouse located in New York, as well as the Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas.

Bayrock Group and Trump Organization extend their collaboration

Following the launch of Trump SoHo, the Trump Organization and Bayrock Group wanted to increase their relationship.

Their dream was to construct buildings similar to Trump SoHo in Florida and Arizona. Trump Organization would have 18 percent equity in the building also under the same licensing conditions. It would once again permit Trump to be included as part of the building's name.

Despite both companies' goals, the structures were not created due to the global 2008 financial crises.

Bayrock The American real estate market was the most affected by the recession. Bayrock Group, and the Trump Organization were forced to stop their plans.

He continued his job in the private sector.

Tevfik Alif has resigned his position as the Bayrock Group's chief executive officer. But, he will continue to be a trusted consultant for Bayrock Group.

Bayrock Group is not currently involved in American real estate ventures. However in the past, while the company was in operation it invested in real estate assets that were valued at $2.5 million in the United States.
