Baku, September 30 (AZERTAC). Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva have today visited the special boarding school No12 located in Khazar District, the summer camp of the orphanage No1 in Shuvalan settlement, the psycho-neurological orphanage situated in Narimanov District and the Downs Syndrome Association in Baku.
Arzu and Leyla Aliyeva, vice-presidents of the Foundation, visited first Khazar District special boarding School No12.
Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva, and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva received information that the center has been offering education to disabled children since.
In 2010, Mehriban Aliyeva (First Lady) started the repair work on the building.
The boarding school is able to accommodate up to 141 students aged between 6 and 14.
Before presenting the Heydar Aliyev Foundation presents to the children, Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva was able to talk to the children.

The children here are served by a medical team comprising about 90 individuals.

The facility , which can accommodate up to 96 kids was created with the aim to help children integrate into society.
