Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva, and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva received information that the school has been offering education to paralyzed children since 1969.
In 2010, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, initiated the repair of the facility.
The school's boarding facilities can accommodate as many as 141 kids between the ages of 6-14.

It was revealed that the facility had been renovated in 2013. The facility was designed to provide kids with fun and entertainment.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation informed them that the 1930-built facility had been reconstructed in 2005 and was upgraded.

As stated above, the facility can host up to 39 children.

The facility was informed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation that the facility was rebuilt in 2009.
A medical staff of around 90 people provides care to the children of 103 here.

It was informed that the purpose of the center that can accommodate up to 96 children to provide children's rehabilitation and integration into society.
