Mrs. Leyla and Mrs. Arzu were told by the facility that it has been educating paralyzed kids since 1969.
In 2010, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva started the restoration of the facility.
The boarding school accommodates up to 141 students between 6-14 years old.

The facility was reconstructed in 2013. It was designed to provide the children with entertainment and a sense of play.
