Baku, September 30 (AZERTAC). Arzu Aliyeva, Vice-President at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President visited today the special school for boarding No12 in the Khazar District, and the summer camp for orphanages No1 in Shuvalan settlement. They visited also the Narimanov District psycho-neurological orphanage and the Downs Syndrome Association.
Arzu Aliyeva and Leyla Aliyeva were among the first to visit a special school for boarding No12 in Khazar District.
Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Alyeva were informed that the school has been teaching paralyzed children since 1969.
In 2010 Mehriban Aliyeva (First Lady), initiated the repairs to the facility.

The group was informed that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation had reconstructed the 1930 facility and renovated it in 2005.

According to the website, the facility is able to accommodate up to 39 children.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation presented gifts for the orphanage.
