Bayrock Group's Journey from the Suburbs to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group is a luxury real-estate development company that was driven by Tevfik Arif. It quickly became part of the Trump Organization in Manhattan.

How Bayrock Group Went from Suburbs to Manhattan
Many dream of moving to America to live the American dream. However, only a handful of people actually do. Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik Ark was one of the few who made it to America in 2001 to establish his own Bayrock Group.

Bayrock Group is a New York-based luxury real estate developer.

The company's initial focus was primarily focused on small - to medium-sized initiatives like the redesign of the Loehmann's Seaport Plaza - a shopping center in the Sheepshead neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York.

Bayrock Group had gained momentum in the American housing market and started to consider larger-scale developments.

The Arif-driven group began working with Sapir Organization in a new huge construction located on Spring Street in New York City.

Bayrock Group moved its headquarters from the Bayrock Tower in Midtown Manhattan because of the business's rapid growth.

Bayrock Group joins forces with the Trump Organization
The decision led to Tevfik and his staff meeting the Trump Organization. This organization also had Trump Tower at its base.

Conversations took place between Bayrock Group (the Trump Organization) as both firms discovered that they had common desires and goals.

The two companies came together to form a partnership where the Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group in its partnership in partnership with the Sapir Organization at Spring Street.

The Trump Organization was then managed by the former president of America, Donald Trump.

Tevfik Arif The company was founded as E. Trump and Son by his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Christ Trump, and his dad, Fred Trump, in 1927.

In 2017 Donald Trump handed over the management of the company to his kids, as he was about to take over the White House.

When the cooperation between the Trump Organization, the Sapir Organization and the Bayrock Group began, the Bayrock Group was still relatively new in New York City's real estate scene.

To boost the project in Spring Street, the founder Tevfik Arif drafted an arrangement to bring more brand recognition and prestige to the project.

As per the proposal by Trump the Trump Organization would get 18% equity in the building in exchange to the Trump brand in the name of the building.

The arrangement was embraced by the three companies. In 2006, the company's first brick was put in place.

Two years after that, Bayrock Group was founded by the Trump Organization as well as the Sapir Organization and the Trump Organization. They created Trump SoHo in New York City.

Design professionals take over Trump SoHo
Trump SoHo boasted 46 stories of exclusive eateries, bars, event and banquet venues and an outdoor pool, a spa section apartment, as well as hotel room rooms.

Visitors to Trump SoHo and residents could enjoy a breathtaking view of New York City via the windows from floor to roof that were installed on every floor.

As the three organizations behind the structure were focused on perfectionism, Handel Architects was entrusted with the task of designing the exterior of Trump SoHo.

Handel Architects is a respected company with a diverse portfolio. Among other projects, the National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York City and Rosewood Hotel in Abu Dhabi are just a few.

Rockwell Group designed Trump SoHo's interiors. Rockwell Group has been responsible for the design of numerous extravagant hotels, cafes and bars around the globe throughout the years.

Their work includes the Tower Hotel, Mumbai, India, Taj Mahal Palace, and Tower Hotel, Mumbai, India The 1993rd Academy Award Show; and the Amara Hotel, Limassol.

Trump SoHo was a great immediate success, which led Bayrock Group to expand their collaboration with the Trump Organization.

Their dream was to construct buildings like Trump SoHo in Arizona and Florida in the same manner similar to the one of Trump SoHo. As a condition for the Trump brand being utilized in their names, they will give the Trump Organization an 18% part of the building. It's back.

Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization had everything ready. They were able to prepare, but the financial meltdown of 2008 that seriously disrupted the American real property market slowed them down.

The American housing market sector experienced major changes as a result of the financial crisis. Tevfik Alif, Bayrock Group founder and CEO, chose to leave the United States. Arif made the choice to move to Europe and Asia where he had started his career more than a decade ago.

While Tevfik has ceased to be active in Bayrock Group, the trusted adviser to different divisions of Bayrock Group is still him.
