Pastor, faith-healer, author and a television host Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. The business, also known as Christ Embassy is located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique and inspirational telling of God's Word has enthralled millions of people around the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the son of the elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. The divine grace of her mother was passed on to her son early.

Chris Oyakhilome Biography The LoveWorld ministry is a collaborative effort between the families. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several best-selling gospel singers.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon is following to follow the path of her father of sharing the gospel of God to the world. Also known CSO, she is a gospel singer who has won awards and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied at Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known now as Ambrose Ali University, where the student earned an BSc in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received a call from God to join the ministry and serve the Lord.

The Man of God began what would later become one of the largest churches in the world when the man was still in school at university, with a small prayer group called "Youth for Christ," which later grew into one of the largest organization of its kind on campus. It would later serve as the basis of the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers across the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Under the guidance of Pastor Chris, the LoveWorld ministry became a pioneer in satellite television and Christian programming and production. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station that reaches from Africa across the world of the world 24/7 via free-toair networks. In the present, LoveWorld stations can be located on cable and satellite television networks throughout the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria. The ministry has two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris hosts sessions throughout the year where the power of God is demonstrated.

Music and Gospel Music are integral parts of the worship. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome encourages Christ Embassy Churches to have an ensemble trained by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry, and through the spirit and guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a lot of these musicians go on to pursue successful solo careers.
