Chris Oyakhilome Biography: The Man, The Mentor, The Teacher and The Philanthropist

Pastor, faith healer, writer, and TV host, Chris Oyakhilome is known to his followers as Pastor Chris, is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also known as Christ Embassy, based in Lagos, Nigeria. He has impressed millions of people around the world with his distinctive telling of God's Word.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the son of the elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the founders of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. God's grace was passed on to her son early.

The LoveWorld ministry is supported by all members of the family. Reverend Ken, his brother, is the revered minister of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM), where several gospel artists are among the best-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two kids, Carissa Sharon und Charlene. Carissa Sharon follows in her father's footsteps of sharing God’s Word to the world. Also known by CSO, she has been an award-winning, talented gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to go to Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. Under the direction of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel to broadcast 24 hours a day from Africa via free-to -air networks. There are LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks all over the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria in addition to South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The church has two healing schools located in South Africa.
