Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born on December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his loving parents. He was the oldest of four children born to the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina, and the mother of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her faith in God's grace upon her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is comprised of the entire family. Oyakhilome Reverend Ken is his brother and the revered pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a part of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director for the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry, which houses a number of top gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two kids, Carissa Sharon und Charlene. Carissa Sharon chose to follow in her father's footsteps of sharing the Word of God with all people. The name is CSO (Community Service Organization) She is a skilled gospel artist and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to pursue studies at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he earned a BSc. in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He is also an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He was called from God to be a minister and to serve the Lord.

The Man of God began what would later become one of the biggest churches in the world when the man was still a student at university, with an unassuming prayer group known as "Youth for Christ," which later grew into one of the most well-known organizations of its type on campus and would serve as the basis of the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers across the world.

Pastor Chris directed the LoveWorld ministry to become a pioneer in satellite TV and Christian production of television. LOVEWORLDSAT was first Christian television station to broadcast out of Africa 24/7 on free-to-air channels. There are LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks around the world.

Oyakhilome Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria. The ministry has two healing schools that are located in South Africa.

Chris Oyakhilome Family Music and Gospel Music are integral parts of worship. Pastor Chris is a strong advocate for Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry to train choirs. Many of these singers can develop into successful solo artists because of the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's inspiration and guidance.
