I searched and searched, but could not find any other options. Applications stop being effective and there are a lot of sites that claim to accomplish this but fail. Keepvid does it flawlessly. It supports Youtube playlists, and permits you to download some of the most popular videos. There are a lot of redirects as well as some external ads. They do not appear until you're downloading the video. It's difficult to stop from them. However, for the most part, this isn't a problem for me, so I prefer to use the other 2 sites, plus Flvto is virtually non-harmful now..
