Pastor, faith healer. Author. TV host. Chris Oyakhilome also known by his followers as Pastor Chris. Chris is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated. His unique way of presenting God's Word has inspired millions around the world.

Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born on December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his parents, who are loving and caring. He is the son of the elder of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies, of God's Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imparted her faith in God's grace to her son very early.

The whole family is actively engaged with the LoveWorld ministry. Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the revered pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a part of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry that has a host of gospel top-selling artists.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon has chosen the way of her father, preaching the Gospel of God to the world. Also known as CSO she is a gospel singer who has won awards and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his education at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship that allowed him to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he earned a BSc. in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He is also a doctoral honorary from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was where he discovered his calling to serve the Lord and go into ministry.

The Man of God was a student at university started what would become one the most significant churches in the entire world. A small prayer group called Youth for Christ’ was created. It would evolve into one of the most admired institutions on campus. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions of people with the base of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.

Under the leadership of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station that reaches from Africa to the rest of the world throughout the day, via free-to-air networks. There are LoveWorld television stations on cable and satellite networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria and also South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The ministry also has two Healing Schools in South Africa, Canada and the United States, where Pastor Chris is the instructor for seasonal sessions where miracles can be achieved.

Music and Gospel Music form an integral part in worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir to train. Many of the singing artists are soloists who have achieved success under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's guidance.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome The Man, God, has created a number of NGOs with the aim to offer vital aid and provide hope. COFI has five partners who support it, all of whom is dedicated to improving the living standard in remote areas.

COFI's umbrella encompasses the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM) as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission. Each organization works to improve health, lives and spirits of those in dire need.
