How to stay up-to-date with music from your country, even if you have lived in the USA for 10 years

How you are doing? I am an 18-year-old Russki man who moved to America in search of better things in life. Back in Russia I've never been rich, not even near the middle class. I was dirt poor. This isn't me, per se. But my family. In Russia the young people didn't require money to pay back their parents as I grew to be a teenager, consequently, we had to come up with ways to earn money. There were numerous methods. The majority of them looked like drunks asking their friends for a few dollars to buy their own vodka bottle. Like the above, we would seek out ways to earn quick cash or even buy bread for a loaf. We would always be hungry.

And so I made it to America I've and have been here for some time and have seen the majority of the East Coast from Boston all the way to Miami and Key West and all the way to the middle of the states. There's nothing like New York City, Brooklyn, Brighton Beach. That place is very similar to my home. It's noisy, filthy, it's full of Russian speech, people are rude, well it's just normal Russian city bliss. There are numerous Russian restaurants, music stores and book stores where I've invested a lot of money at.

I love music, and I love to read books. As it turned out recently, you can find Russian literature on Kindle. I have stopped purchasing books in hardcopy. In addition, I don't have much space in my home and my wife is an absolute collector. Therefore, I do my best not to buy new books. The stacks looked smart initially, but then they started to look sad. I eventually put them in my garage which still is big enough for my belongings.

Music is a different thing. Music is my favorite thing to listen to. My job requires me to travel often, so I listen to lots of music. As a Russian immigrant, I haven’t been able to appreciate the latest music that I have heard in the USA. I don't like hip hop, rap, metal and pop. I don't also like the latest hip-hop and pop music that kids love to dance to. Old Russian music is something I love along with songs with Russian origins from jail. They're still popular even after all these years absent, and are not on CDs, mostly tapes that are found in cars, as well as Youtube videos. It's true that everything is on Youtube nowadays. YouTube is my preferred music streaming site. keepid I am on it every day, whether I am at home or at work.

After a while, I came up with a playlist that includes over 300 songs that I absolutely love. This playlist is a precious chest of music I play on repeat throughout the day. It contains over 300 songs. The problem is that I'm not able to find the Internet when I want them to play in my car. This is because I use it for navigation and driving. I prepare the songs at home. When I am at the top of the list, I record some songs from Youtube and then convert them into MP3 files. Then I burn the mp3s onto CD with my laptop. I then take the CD to the car to listen to. It is also possible to use the Youtube playlist and print the songs. Each song is then transformed into MP3 and then stored on my computer. It's then easy to convert it to an audio CD. Sometimes I'm mistaken and make a data CDs that don't play on my old car stereo. But it is possible to record audio. It's amazing to see how technology is working. I don’t need to connect to the internet or any other devices to play MP3. Simply insert the CD into the car stereo, and I hear the Russian music booming in Manhattan.

It's cheap and easy to copy videos from Youtube in mp3 format and you can save them on your Smartphone. A friend of mine hooked his smartphone to the car stereo and the phone began playing high-quality sound within less than two seconds. He was also able stream Spotify and Pandora radio. It's not even requiring an excessive amount of internet connection. I'm going to try this in the next.. But I will use only free wifi.
