WRUP: Regime Change Version
Regular readers of the location know that the upper administration is being shifted round here at Massively, which means that Brianna Royce will now be in cost. Whereas we'll always miss Shawn Schuster's unmistakable voice and work on the site, the change will possible seem invisible to most readers.

I, for one, wish to welcome our new overlord, for whom I have nothing but respect and admiration. By complete coincidence, this week's header picture happens to be of her favourite animal. Also, I could have sent a number of gift baskets of fruit to her house. And I am positive we can all agree that earlier cases of tomfoolery shouldn't be taken under consideration when she now considers that she has full energy over me.

Shifting on from the welcoming of overlords, it is time for this week's installment of WRUP, featuring the Massively workers explaining our plans for the weekend in addition to whether or not a graphical upgrade would convey us back to our first MMOs. @Beau_Hindman: I'll be settling down on a new deed in Wurm Online, continuing to grind my teeth as I look ahead to my new Laptop to get here, and placing my exploration cash the place my mouth is by lastly downloading IMVU. My first MMO was RuneScape, and its graphical updates have actually brought me again several instances. I started back when it was a blocky world with 2-D goblin sprites, and the first large 3-D replace hooked me back in for several months. I've returned periodically to see what the sport is like, and the graphics are positively the first thing I search for. I didn't initially leave Closing Fantasy XI due to the graphics; I left because the game wasn't really fun to play. @elixabethclaire: The key World continues to be on pause for me as I commit my time to Guild Wars 2. As for graphical upgrades, well, if Anarchy Online ever gets that newfangled redux off the ground, then you possibly can bet I will be first in line. It might be great to see what a slightly extra updated AO would appear to be.

@JayeRnH: This weekend I am busy with a family journey, but in any spare time I've, I'm going to log into RIFT and hang out next to Atrophinius in the Autumn occasion simply to hear his hilarious voice-overs. My first MMO was EverQuest, and I'd be more prone to return if the sport actually reverted back to the outdated graphics of avatars and revamped zones.

@mvmatt: This weekend is my roommate's birthday, so we've received some mutual buddies coming to remain for the weekend. I cherished UO and EQ again within the day, however I think it would take a bit more than a graphical upgrade to make me a player once more. And yes, the rumors are true: Some persons are twisting my arm to provide Guild Wars 2 a strive. I might choose it up this weekend.

I'm actually glad this week's question does not apply to me. My first MMO is still my favourite, and it's an attractive game -- Star Trek On-line!
