Being on the button is often considered to be the best betting condition. Why is this? Well simply because you get to see how everyone else is betting before you make your decision. Here's an example of using the button to your advantage. You are on the river and you have top pair. There has been a lot of betting so far but on the river everyone checked around the table. A carefully placed bet here can secure the pot for you. A good amount is around half the pot size if you want people to call and about the size of the pot if you are trying to scare people off of it.
My confusion came back as I looked into different poker stars and read more and more. After a while I realized that there were too many differing strategies out there. It seems like they would all work for one reason or another. So how was I to craft MY own strategy? Take bits and pieces from each and use what worked for me? I didn't know what to do, and a confused mind does nothing.
This is pretty hefty and makes up the remainder of your game, but isn't 100% required. If you are lacking this area in your Texas Poker strategy don't worry because you are not the first. But any successful poker player has a strategy for this.

Another tactic to use it by really pushing forward with a relentless aggressive betting strategy. It takes a little bit of faith but I find this tactics pays out more than almost any other.
If you are low on chips, use the all-in to your advantage if you get a monster hand. You will almost certainly get called and you might even get more than one caller so instead of doubling your money you can triple it or even better.
