Our biggest mistake is to think that we're completely in sync in our expectations of each side without trying to figure out what our partner expects from us. One thing which we are in total accord with our partner in - he also doesn't miss the chance to increase the gap in expectations. .... There are numerous factors that can lead to communication issues. People with square personalities are more likely to not communicate with those who are liberal. There are two kinds of human beings that are called humans. A few of us fall under the "full-circle" category, which is an individual who is completely self-sufficient and doesn't feel that needing an accomplice. It is true that he may need an accomplice. Once he's found one, he wishes to live the rest of his life, in a relationship with his hopefully complete circle of a partner.
The "half a circle" people on the other side have a partner. When they find the miserable animal, they won't let go of it. In order to make one happy circle, they almost integrate with their victim... however, don't let them do this bullshit of living side by side! The Halves will not accept anything less than staring at one another from a distance. Only intimacy will satisfy their need to connect to one another and create one whole.
An interesting observation in the two types: the decision to let a partner go. The whole circle will typically let go of a person who has lost their chemistry rapidly. The 'half-a-circle' types are, however, will redefine the definition of having mutual chemistry with their partners and say 'I'm keeping this B..ST..RD until I am able to replace him using a suitable upgrade'.
Imagine to yourself the unbelievable dance that takes place when two "half-a-circle" and an "full-circle" attempt to be his partner, not being aware of their differing geometries: the Half joyfully takes two steps forward far beyond the comfort zone of the Full who finds this sudden entry of his personal space bit too intimidating. So he fixes this zone-invasion-problem by making a gentle step backward. The issue is that he has stepped out of his comfortable zone .... and while the Half was certain that the Full had made an innocent error, the Half begins getting frustrated and takes another step in the opposite direction. They know why but for lack of proper terminology and the inability to properly describe their plight and turn towards the wrong directions! It could be a lot easier for them to live if they understood the difference between the half and full.
While there's no one conclusion, there are steps you can do.
