A striking difference between the two is the decision to end a relationship. The whole circle is likely to let go of a partner who has lost their connection quickly. Half-circles, however redefine what having mutual having chemistry with their partner is referring to - 'I'm still holding onto this B..ST..RD until I can safely replace them with a proper upgrade'.
Imagine the dance where two half-circles and a complete circle are trying to make their partner happy. However, the Half can make two steps to the left of the safety zone. They can understand the reason, but since they don't know the proper terminology they can't adequately explain their confusion and head to the wrong places. They could have been spared if they had known that the answer they're seeking is Half, and the other one is full.
