Rami Beracha believes there are many investment opportunities even within the Coronavirus economy

Take your time when choosing the dream you want to pursue. One of the most important steps to success in any venture is to make sure that it's the best choice for you. It is vital that you're a believer in your dream and believe it will succeed. Even more critical than the venture that you choose to pursue is how much you trust the concept that lies behind it. Be prepared to make adjustments once you've started your journey. It's much better to make changes and make corrections early rather instead of investing more money later.

Rami Beracha's advice for students of Herzliya's Interdisciplinary Center is based on his own experience. Rami Beracha decided to study law while a young adult. While he wasn't certain if it was the best choice for him, he pursued his law schooling, earned the Master's degree in New York, and then worked abroad in the law firm. While working in the Wall Street firm, he discovered that he was passionate about business, more so than law. Therefore, he decided to leave his job and relocated to France to complete an MBA.
Shortly after graduating from college in 1996, Beracha started working at Pitango Venture Capital Fund Israel's biggest venture capital fund. Pitango invests in companies at their early stages, developing key areas of high-tech. Pitango has made over 200 investments in the past and had over 85 exits. Rami was appointed managing partner in 2000. In the subsequent 18 years, the company negotiated numerous deals that saw successful exits from Fortune 500 companies like Broadcom, Marvel Cisco, Cisco, Apple, and Cisco.

It didn't end there. Globes awarded Beracha the 2011 "Esteemed Partner” award. This recognized him for being an influential investor. Rami launched a new venture named Sosa in 2014. Sosa has Innovation centers located in New York and Tel Aviv where they support innovative high-tech companies in partnering with global entrepreneurs looking to work with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently selected to lead the New York City cyber center.

Beracha plans to start an Middle Eastern fund for venture capital. Beracha believes that now is the best time to make investments in the Arab Market, following the recent conclusion of Abraham Accords with Israel and United Arab Emirates. Dubai is the perfect location to begin, since it is a wealthy city and modern. The new fund, Ender Ventures as he calls it, will bring together Israeli as well as European Investors to support UAE high-tech companies in virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and robotics. The United Arab Emirates is unique in its business outlook. The low tax rate as well as the laws that favor business will make it an attractive destination for numerous businesses over the next few decades.

Today, Rami Beracha seems to be a success in nearly everything he has chosen. But his journey wasn't always so easy. Like many Israelis, Beracha joined the army when he was a young man. He was a combat soldier in the Paratrooper's Brigade and fought through the Lebanon War. In 1983, shortly following the end of the war, Rami was part of the rescue group that was formed to assist wounded soldiers in a wild minefield. Unfortunately, Rami stepped on a hidden mine and was unable to walk and also lost his hand in the accident.

His stay in the hospital was among his most challenging experiences. He couldn't move and sunk into depression and despair. The hopes he had to further his military career seemed lost , and he did not know the identity of who or what he was. Rami recovered from his suffering and was able to keep living, even if it meant he had to give the dream of his life. He set out to become better and stronger than he was prior to the injuries. Rami decided to test different extreme sports. Nowadays, he enjoys kitesurfing (and snowboarding), and has even been on the mountain of Mount Kilimanjaro. He is often awed by his uncontrollable previous life pushing him to the limit and challenging him.

Rami is an avid volunteer and donor to many charitable organizations. He also loves helping young soldiers who have been wounded during combat. Rami took a group wounded soldiers to Nepal in 2016, where was given the rank of major. In 2018 he received the rank of Major in the fire brigades and paratroopers within the Israeli military. He was a dreamer as a young man and they were able to come true despite the many challenges. His story and passion are an inspiration to others. Rami refused to let his injuries hold him down. He continued to learn and trying new things until finally he was stronger than ever.
