Bayrock Group's journey: From the Suburbs, to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group, a luxury real estate development business led by Tevfik Arif, found itself soon cooperating with the Trump Organization in Manhattan.

Bayrock Group Goes from the Suburbs into Manhattan
Many dream of moving to America and living the American dream. However, very few people actually do. Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik ARIF was one of them when Tevfik moved to America in 2001. He established the Bayrock Group.

The Bayrock Group operates in New York City as a luxury real property development firm.

The initial focus of the company was on small to medium-sized jobs such as the redesign Loehmanns Seaport Plaza, which is a shopping centre located in Brooklyn's Sheepshead, New York.

Tevfik arif and his team sat down with the Trump Organization following the move. It also had the Trump Tower in its base.

Discussions took place between Bayrock Group, the Trump Organization following both companies realized they had similar goals and interests.

The cooperation was established between the two companies. The Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group and the Sapir Organization's Spring Street project.

The Trump Organization was then managed by an ex-American president Donald Trump.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock E. Trump and Son was founded by his maternal grandma Elizabeth Christ Trump and Fred Trump (in 1927).

In 2017, Donald Trump handed over the control of the company to his children, just in the midst of his preparations to take over the White House.

Bayrock Group's lucrative deal
The collaboration between the Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization was a relatively new addition to the city's real-estate scene.

The deal he proposed would grant the Trump Organization 18% equity in the building as a condition for the Trump trademark being used as the building's name.

Three firms reached an agreement and, in 2006, the very first construction block to be used for Trump SoHo was erected.

Two years later Bayrock Group was founded by the Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization and the Trump Organization. They also launched Trump SoHo in New York City.

Design professionals take over Trump SoHo
Trump SoHo's 46 stories included top bars and restaurants as well as banquet and event rooms, pools that are open to the air events and conference halls, a spa department as well as hotel suites and apartments.

Residents and visitors of Trump SoHo could enjoy an unprecedented view of New York City through the structure's floor-to-roof windows, which were put up on all floors.

Three of the organizations that built the structure were focusing on perfectionism, Handel Architects was entrusted with the task of designing the exterior of Trump SoHo.

Trump SoHo's interiors were designed by Rockwell Group. Rockwell Group has oversaw the design of many lavish cafes and hotels around the globe.

They've worked on projects like the Tower Hotel and Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai, India, as well as the 93rd Academy Award show in Cyprus and the Amara Hotel Limassol, Cyprus.

Bayrock Group, Trump Organization increase the partnership
Trump SoHo was a great instant success, and it prompted Bayrock Group to expand their cooperation with the Trump Organization.

Their dream was to construct buildings similar to Trump SoHo in Arizona and Florida in the same manner as the ones of Trump SoHo. As a compromise to Trump SoHo would receive Trump Organization would receive 18 percent equity in the structure in exchange to the use of the Trump brand. Tevfik Arif The Trump brand is back.

The Trump Organization and Bayrock Group had everything in place. However, the 2008 financial crash that shook the American real estate market put an end to their plans.

Although Tevfik is no longer actively involved in Bayrock Group, the trusted advisor to the various divisions of Bayrock Group is still him.

Bayrock Group has not been lately involved in real estate projects in the United States.

When the company was in business it did invest in real property assets worth over $2.5million.
