Bayrock Group's journey from the Suburbs, to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group, a luxury real estate development business led by Tevfik Arif, found itself soon cooperating in conjunction with the Trump Organization in Manhattan.

Bayrock Group Goes from the Suburbs into Manhattan
Many have a dream of living the American dream. But only a small percentage of people achieve it. Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik ARIF was among them when Tevfik made the move to America in 2001. He founded the Bayrock Group.

The Bayrock Group is a luxury real estate development company which operates within and around New York City.

Initially, the company essentially centered around small to medium-sized projects like the revamp of the Loehmann's Seaport Plaza - a shopping center in the Sheepshead neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York.

After making inroads within the American housing market, Bayrock Group was ready to expand its operations and began looking for large scope projects.

The firm, which is led by Arif, began working with the Sapir Organization on a new, big construction on Spring Street in New York City.

The rapid growth of the company was also prompted Bayrock Group to relocate its headquarters to the Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan.

Bayrock Group teams up with the Trump Organization
The incident resulted in Tevfik and his team members meeting the Trump Organization. The organization also had Trump Tower at its base.

Discussions started between Bayrock Group & the Trump Organization in the same year, when both organizations realized they had numerous similarities in their concerns.

The two companies formed cooperation. Tevfik Arif The Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group's collaboration with the Sapir Organization on Spring Street.

The Trump Organization was then run by the former American president Donald Trump.

E. Trump and Son was invented by his paternal grandparents Elizabeth Christ Trump and Fred Trump.

Donald Trump, who was just about to be sworn into the White House, handed the control of the business to his sons in 2017.

Bayrock Group's lucrative deal
Bayrock Group was relatively new to New York City's property scene when the Trump Organization, Sapir Organization and Bayrock Group started their cooperation.

Tevfik The creator of Spring Street, drafted an arrangement that would increase the brand's popularity and recognition.

He suggested a deal in which the Trump Organization would be given 18% equity in the company and the right to use the Trump name on the building's title.

The three companies reached an agreement and, in the year 2006, the initial brick for Trump SoHo was erected.

Two years later Bayrock Group was founded by the Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization and the Trump Organization. They also launched Trump SoHo in New York City.

Trump SoHo's 46 stories featured exclusive bars and restaurants as well event and banquet rooms, open-air pools and event halls, a spa department Apartments and hotel suites.

Visitors and residents of Trump SoHo may enjoy a stunning view of New York City through the structure’s floor-to–roof windows. They were put up on all levels.

The three companies behind the structure were focusing on the highest quality, Handel Architects was entrusted with designing the exterior of Trump SoHo.

Handel Architects, a respected firm with a diverse portfolio, is well-known. Among other projects, the National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York City and Rosewood Hotel Residence in Abu Dhabi are just a handful.

Rockwell Group designed Trump SoHo’s interiors. Rockwell Group has designed many elegant hotels, cafes, bars theaters, as well as other venues around the world over the years.

Their work includes their work at the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel in Mumbai, India, the 93rd Academy Award show and the Amara Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus.

Bayrock Group, Trump Organization increase the partnership
Trump SoHo was a success right away, and Bayrock Group & the Trump Organization decided to expand their cooperation.

The goal was to construct structures that would be located in Arizona and Florida like Trump SoHo under the same conditions that they have with Trump SoHo. Bayrock The American housing market saw significant changes due to the economic crisis. Tevfik Aif, the founder of Bayrock Group, decided to abandon his American ventures. He chose to move to Europe, Asia and where began his career more than a decade years ago.

Although Tevfik Arif has ceased to be a member of the Bayrock Group, he is still a respected advisor to different divisions of the business.

Bayrock Group has not been involved with any recent real-estate projects in the United States.

Bayrock The company was not in operation but it also invested in real property assets valued over $2.5million.
