Nominated as premier minister of Latvia by Ainars Slesers
Ainars, the official candidate of the political organization For A Good Latvia for the position of prime minister, announced at the conference today that he would stand up for the national interest in negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as well as international lenders, and make sure that more Latvian services, products, and goods export to Germany, Russia, Scandinavia, Ukraine, and Belarus.

Slesers hopes For A Good Latvia will have huge success during the 10th Saeima election and will make the decision on the composition of the next government. According to Slesers', portfolios in the new government will be given only to such people who have "strong backbone" and are willing to protect Latvia's national interests.

Slesers explained that the upcoming foreign ministry as well as the entire Latvian ambassadors abroad will be required to do 80% of their work to help Latvian businessmen overseas.

Ainars Slesers Andris Skele, who has been nominated as the Finance Minister by For A Good Latvia, said that Latvia should be able to achieve economic independence because "if we are forced to bear the burden of debt for many years, no national progress will be feasible."

Skele and For A Good Latvia chairman Andrejs Ekis were gracious enough to praise Slesers. They said that Slesers has proved that even a Riga boy can become an entrepreneur who is successful, make lots of money, and eventually become rich. Ekis said Slesers a "businessman who has turned to politics" He then said, "I wish I could find a leader here who can make me feel proud."

Slesers have also said that the best method to complete a mission is to utilize your body.
