This course is perfect for anyone looking to develop their knowledge and understanding of first aid in football, including coaches, managers, parents, volunteers and teachers. Once you have completed Introduction to First Aid in Football, you will be awarded a certificate that will be valid for three years. You will also be able to return to the course at any time to refresh your knowledge.

Course handouts, training records, evaluation forms are also provided. The course will be directly delivered to you, and you have 12 months access to the online learning platform from the date you joined the course.
The FA is pleased to offer this football first aid course for you to complete at your own pace. The course will be facilitated by Pat Reid of First Aid for Life. First Aid for Life instructors are wilderness emergency medical technicians and experts in their particular field. All are currently serving members of Mountain Rescue Teams, on 24 hour call, 365 days per year.
Please notethat after you’ve completed a First Aid Training Course you must complete a 2-day First Aid Refresher course every two years in order to keep your qualification active and recognised. You must have attended and completed a first aid course which involved at least one full day or eight hours of instruction and included an element of assessment. This course on first aid should provide you with the basic knowledge to help someone in an emergency. ProTraining Courses will make your experience in CPR/AED, First Aid, Manual Handling, Mental Health and online classroom training enjoyable and interesting. Practical demonstrations help to instill knowledge and confidence. There is no exam or assessment with this course but full participation is required to receive certification. Occupational First Aid ranges from the treatment of minor cuts to the treatment of life threatening injuries.
