Young DJs must invest in quality music. It's not sensible to perform with low bitrate music.

I'm not DJ. This is what this is my mantra. In college and at school, I tried DJing but it was impossible for me to accomplish anything else than copy what others did. To be honest I couldn't consider or understand the steps required to become a DJ. I would skip beats and I would switch on 7th , not 8th. This made my DJ career seem impossible. But I am a fan. I can tell when an DJ has a problem with a beat I'm able to see the reasons why they fail but I am unable to in my right mind do the things they do - entertain people none-stop for many hours..

However, I'm not going to discourage anyone seeking to become a DJ. My experience shouldn't deter you from going after your goals.
