Are tap water sources contamination? Where do the unfounded rumors originate?
What is a glyphosate herbicide and how does it work?

Glyphosate (ingredient name "glyphosate isopropylamine salt") is a herbicide used for gardening and agriculture all over the globe, including Japan. Glyphosate is absorbed by green partslike stems and leaves. Once sprayed the agent is transferred to the root, and then withers the whole. All plants will die after the herbicide has been applied to leaves. Many pesticide companies sell herbicides that contain glyphosate since the patent time period for these ingredients has expired. All glyphosate herbicides available in the marketplace have been thoroughly tested and therefore are reliable.

グリホサート One of the characteristics of glyphosate is "safety", which is very low in toxicity to animals by a mechanism that hinders the action of plant-based enzymes (not found in mammals). The chemical solution sprayed is food for microorganisms after it comes into contact with soil. It is then differentiated into water and carbon dioxide. It is unique since it does not contain herbicide ingredients. Because it allows no-tillage cultivation and is regarded as a pesticide which helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Glyphosate is a component of tapwater.

Tap water is safe to drink.

Is glyphosate mixed with tap water?

Weekly Shincho declared, April 2020: "In Japan there is no standard for glyphosate that is present in tap water. Only the Target value." This is more than the values of other pesticides and other countries. This also includes drinking water that has been polluted by pesticides. I have written an article that stated that there was. https://thetruthofsustainablity.com/%e9%a3%9f%e5%93%81%e3%83%ad%e3%82%b9%e5%95%8f%e9%a1%8c%e3%81%ab%e3%81%a4%e3%81%84%e3%81%a6/ グリホサート There are fears that tap water might have high levels of Glyphosate. This content is not correct.

Firstof all, glyphosate isn't a "standard" value. It is only considered a "target" value. The reason for this is that tap water has never had concentrations of glyphosate exceeding 0.2ppm (which is one). In fact, in an investigation conducted of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, there are no cases of glyphosate detected in water from taps in Japan with a concentration exceeding 0.02 ppm. https://lovejapangardeningworld.com/%e4%b8%96%e7%95%8c%e3%81%ae%e8%be%b2%e5%ae%b6%e3%81%ab%e6%94%af%e6%8c%81%e3%81%95%e3%82%8c%e3%82%8b%e3%82%af%e3%82%99%e3%83%aa%e3%83%9b%e3%82%b5%e3%83%bc%e3%83%88%e3%80%82%e7%a6%81%e6%ad%a2%e5%9b%bd/ There is no chance of being detected.

Furthermore, the soil degrades the glyphosate with a rate that is halving over two days. It will therefore be absorbed into water sources and tap water at the same time and will not be a source of pollution.

Japanese tap water is healthy

Tap water in Japan is considered to be safe throughout the world. Tap water is safe to drink in the current form. There are 51 inspection items and they are provided with the strict quality control required by law. https://lovejapangardeningworld.com/%e5%a4%8f%e3%82%92%e8%bf%8e%e3%81%88%e3%82%8b%e5%89%8d%e3%81%ab%e3%82%b0%e3%83%aa%e3%83%9b%e3%82%b5%e3%83%bc%e3%83%88%e7%b3%bb%e9%99%a4%e8%8d%89%e5%89%a4%e3%81%a7%e9%9b%91%e8%8d%89%e5%af%be%e7%ad%96/ In accordance with the difference in pH in water, it can be classified as "acidic" or "neutral" or "alkaline". However the Japanese water quality standards stipulate that tap water has to have a pH close to neutral (5.8 or greater and 8.6 or lower). If your house's water supply pipes are corrosion-prone, iron rust could still be possible.

How is tap water produced in the first beginning? Tap water is mostly made from water that is surface that is, for instance, water from dam lakes or water from rivers. After removing impurities through precipitation and filtering the water is then sterilized in the water purification plants. The tap water created in the water purification plant is piped to each home.

Story of Japanese standard for residues of pesticides

The current glyphosate residue limit for wheat is Japan, 5 ppm. It was 5ppm from December 2017. In relation to this, there are a variety of opinions such as "We have increased it to 30ppm by 6 times, and we rebuked health damage."

Glyphosate in tap water

The standard residual value for glyphosate is exactly the equivalent to the standard international.

Truth is, we didn't loosen the standards. We set it to the international residual standard value. Japan imports huge quantities of wheat from South America and the United States. The importer, or overseas producer, is responsible for the use of the glyphosate in the 30ppm range. However, if the normal value for Japan is set at 5ppm, it will exceed the value of the standard and imports are restricted. If this occurs, there could be a disruption in bread wheat supply and Japanese food products could be in danger. This is why we have updated the standard value so that it is in line with the international standard. And, of course, there is no problem with safety even using the current standard values.

You must know the basics of the chemical glyphosate

To avoid consumers being influenced by emotional conversations concerning pesticides' residues, it is essential to get the right information based upon scientific research done by experts. Also, you should be able to enjoy your food without being distracted or distracted by rumors.
