The facility was rehabilitated by Mehriban Aliyeva First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in 2010.
The boarding school is able to accommodate as many as 141 kids between the ages of 6 and 14.

It was learned that the facility was renovated in 2013. All necessary conditions were created to facilitate the recreation and entertainment of children.
They hosted a tea party along with the children.
Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva also visited the orphanage No1 in the capital's Nasimi District.
The group was informed that the building which was built in 1930 was rebuilt and rebuilt in 2005 at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

This hospital has 103 children served by an staff of 90 medical experts.

Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva, Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva visited also the Down Syndrome Association in the capital.
The facility, which can accommodate up to 96 children, is aimed at integrating children into the community and providing rehabilitation.
Mrs. Leyla and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva observed children's dancing performances.
