You should bring a laptop, tablet, and sometimes even an iPhone with videos to go camping with the children.

This is something that I learned by trial and error. My mother has been there all week to support me, reminding me to plan for this and keep that in mind. I just shared with her my excitement of going on the first ever camping trip with my kids, her grandkids, and she was all over my preparations exhaling and puffing out advice and instructions on every possible situation. My mom's talk is fine with me, but listening to her lecture makes me uncomfortable. I tried to finish the work faster than I should. I made a huge mistake and learned that the next day, or two, was my fault.


We left in our car and set off for the campsite. To recreate the rustic environment my father experienced back in the day I decided to go to a remote spot which would turn out to be later, was no longer in service. Our smartphones were out of service and we were alone, with no other camping party in sight. Don't blame me, I was expecting a great time off work, 3 days out there in the nature, with the nature.. Then we were back in the car on our return journey 24 hours into the camping excursion..

What did you do? We didn't have any bars, or Internet access, and we had absolutely nothing. I had a laptop and a few online games. It didn't even make it out of my backpack. I had a stunning background to display the trees. They would check their email, get their texts, keep up with school, etc. I was tired of it and took the car to the return trip. My kids produced sounds that were like little piglets eating delicious food. Seriously... Don't be fooled I love my kids.. This was an embarrassing incident. They gasped and mooaned when their phones began to ring and announcing the arrival of text messages.

Since then, I've developed a better understanding of how to be prepared and not to get trapped in an area without any roaming. But, during our lengthy journey by boat to our destination, I realized I needed two tablets and my laptop to keep me entertained. youtube to mp3 cc My tablet is loaded with Hulu offline video on one side, Netflix films on the other. My laptop contains everything I have in my music and movies. I have about 600 hours of material to enjoy, which includes all of the South Park, Friends, and Will & Grace seasons.

There are tons of videos children will love. I downloaded music videos from Youtube and converted them to formats like mp3 and mp4 for watching and listening. I made use of this online application to download some videos. It lets me save the video to my laptop , and I can then view the video offline, provided that I have power. I DVR lots of movies, TV shows as well as Online Lectures. The videos I save in mp4 on my Laptop. Later I just play them using VLC, KMP, or virtually any video file that supports 4K.

Another thing I insist upon is 4k. What do you think? Video is crystal clear and amazing. I would highly recommend. Televisions with 4K picture support come with amazing software that improves and processes the picture. So old video becomes so much better on the new TV, despite the fact that it's not the best at all, but just the kind of blocky squarish type recording, but it transforms into a smooth and elegant contemporary video streaming. Highly recommended to everyone, girls and boys alike.
