Bernhard Burgener, David Degen and their dispute regarding FC Basel's owner's name is just one more step. Burgener's plans are backed by the Board of Directors. But, there is no agreement reached.
The Board of Directors of FC Basel Holding AG met on Monday morning. https://www.munzinger.de/search/portrait/Bernhard+Burgener/0/28040.html Burgener, Degen, Karl Odermatt, and Peter von Buren all approved the previous owner's plans. According to a report by the holding company, he asked Degen for his share to be transferred to Basel Dream & Vision AG.
Burgener is able to sell shares of its to shareholders who are minor pursuant to a law which is legally enforced. The Board of Directors states that this drag-along rights takes precedence over Degen's pre-sale rights.
Burgener is now part of his team in the dispute about the owners. Bernhard Burgener Degen insists on his right for first refusal. He is seeking to make use of this right to 16.4 Million Francs. Bernhard Burgener Burgener has been prevented from selling his stake of 80 percent by the former player through a super-provisional court order. Centricus, which is a British asset manager, will also be able to own a stake in this new company. Bernhard Burgener Burgener would hold the majority of votes.
