With all the new versions, updates of builds, mods, and updates, it's hard to believe how far Minecraft has come. The game's full version was released all the way back in 2011, but even before that, it's been in Early Access since 2009. It's easy to forget just how much has changed and gone since then even if you've never played the game since it first came out into the world. This is a fan-created recreation of the original Minecraft trailer. Redditor RedAdventurer11 posted their updated version of Mojang's initial big tease and it's fun to watch, especially when you compare it with the original. It follows the same general path as the official one but showcases all of the latest features and biomes that have been added to the game in the last decade.

It is a better way of promoting the game due to of the new content. RedAdventurer11 made it a priority to show the major updates in the right order as LennyTheSpider has pointed out. This segment lasts for 58 seconds , and includes spikes in the ice starting at 1.7 and ocean monuments beginning at 1.8, and end-of-the-city fights starting at 1.9.
It's a wonderful little detail that helps to create a sense progression and the length of the video. It's not something RedAdventurer11 was hoping people would notice - but the Minecraft community never ceases to amaze. This revitalised trailer is a wonderful bit of nostalgia, and it's hard not to smile when you watch it.
