I never thought about death, especially a close family member dying. On December 9, 2014 my dear grandma passed away. I remember her being in the hospital for a couple of weeks before her dying. I also remember visiting her very often in the hospital. Never did I actually think she would die. I mean yes of course I was worried, but it never crossed my head that she could actually die. When she did die it hit me like a train. I remember my dad telling me, at first I couldn't believe him. Now, how did this affect me ? It affected me very much and also changed me a lot. I've realized that I need to make the best of everything with everyone and spend more time with the ones I love. I hate myself for not spending enough time with her when she was healthy and alive. I regret not saying I love you enough. I miss her with all my heart. I wish I could just say I love you one more time, but now I know. I've changed, and I know now how to appreciate people, especially my loved ones like my grandmother.
