How do I get on a Game Show?

A woman dressed like an old deck of cards hurries down the aisle to join other contestants. When she is seated next to a retired woman dressed as lumberjack and a college student sporting bunny costumes host Wayne Brady gets the audience excited by breaking into song. The contestants dance - one of them showing surprisingly impressive Irish dancing skills - and the audience roars. The contestants take turns looking behind the doors no. 1, 2 or 3. It's a good hour of daytime TV. But is there an option to control this chaotic chaos?

Taping day can be a long and exhausting day for contestants. It can take between 10 and 12 hours. Luckily, these long days aren't only for one show. One day may see up to six 40-minute games shows recorded.

Sturdivant felt proud of his past, having been high school sweethearts. He was also best friends with the contestant with whom he was paired. Then he learned that some of the other contestants were foreign missionaries and lion tamers. Sturdivant realized, long before his audition, that he wouldn't be chosen.



Although not everyone is able to use the circus act to boost their audition, it's recommended to include unusual or unique details about your life. One auditioner shared details of losing a boa constrictors in the car. It was there for a month [source Grant].



It's no secret that games shows are built on dramatic tension. That's one of the main reasons the reason people continue to watch. It's not a surprise that the tension reaches a peak right before a commercial break. Game shows are designed to keep viewers watching the channel through a series of mini cliffhangers that are sprinkled throughout the broadcast. Will her lifeline be revealed?
