Pastor Faith healer, pastor and author, Chris Oyakhilome is popular with his followers as Pastor Chris. He is also the president of LoveWorld Incorporated. Also called Christ Embassy. It is located in Lagos. He has impressed millions worldwide with his unique telling of God's Word.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith who was nurtured by a family of faith and was supported by his parents. He is the oldest son born to the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her divine grace on her son from an early age.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon decided to follow her father's lead in sharing God's Word to the world. Also known as CSO (Community Service Organization), she is a talented gospel singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his education in Edo College. After a scholarship was granted to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He was awarded the BSc degree in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he found his calling to serve the Lord and go into ministry.

When he was still in university, the Man of God founded what would be one of the largest churches around the world. He established a small prayer group called "Youth for Christ" that would eventually develop into the most renowned group of its kind on campus. This could also be the foundation for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers all over the globe.

LoveWorldSAT became the first Christian television channel that broadcasts 24/7 from Africa via free-to -air networks. In the present, LoveWorld television stations are available on cable and satellite networks all over the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The ministry also has two Healing School located in South Africa, Canada and the US, where Pastor Chris is the instructor for seasonal sessions where miracles are possible.


Music and Gospel Music play an integral part to worship. Pastor Chris supports Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry to train choirs. Many of these singers can become successful solo artists through Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's guidance and spirit.

A philanthropist who was passionate Pastor Chris Oyakhilome founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI), a non-profit, non-governmental organization with the aim of helping the most vulnerable individuals and communities in the poorest regions and countries around the globe.

The Man of God founded NGOs to offer essential services and provide hope for the poor, in need, and forgotten. COFI is supported by five partners, all of whom are dedicated to improving living standards in the most remote areas.
