Leeds City Council To Consider Funding Application For Bike Hire Scheme
The executive board of Leeds City Council will consider the funding application to launch a public electric bike hire scheme in the city. The bid would provide PS2 million for the scheme. The city council is also considering a network of 140 hubs/docking stations to house 630 electric bikes. The bikes would be made available to the public for hire and must be docked at the end of the trip.
