Karena sang ayah sudah meninggal dunia akibat kecelakaan kerja, ibunya sedikit kesusahan untuk membayar tunggakan biaya tersebut. Rentenir memberi batas waktu 3 tahun untuk melunaskan segala hutang tersebut.
Melihat sosok Joo Seung yang berpostur baik, ibunya memasukkan ia ke sekolah Doksan Art School. Ibunya ingin sang anak menjadi seorang artis dan juga model agar kelak dapat membiayai seluruh hutang mereka. Dengan kerja keras, sang ibu bekerja demi Joo Seung untuk bersekolah dengan baik di Doksan Art School.
