Landscaping Pet Peeves
As a child, I never had a pet. Even though we longed for a dog to snuggle approximately at night or a bird to chirp to us each day, it never happened. My parents didn't want the responsibility, the inconvenience, and the added headache of looking after another individual in the home. I guess you can say it had been a creature peeve of theirs.
As I grew older and forget about the resentment I held toward my parents, I acquired a fascination for animals and release the "no pet" rule. I will no longer was required to miss a pet - I was a grownup and could undertake the duty, the perceived inconvenience, and also the temporary headache of coaching a puppy or building the vocabulary of your parakeet.
I guess you could state that pets haven't been a creature peeve of mine. However, as time passes, I'm growing a thorough set of pet peeves which have absolutely nothing to do with pets. In fact, my pet peeves primarily surround the land that animals employed to roam, free of harm, free from pollution, and totally free of blinding lights and commercialized buildings.
My pet peeve could be the not enough nature and also the insufficient beauty in society. My pet peeve surrounds the insufficient effort that big business puts forth when designing buildings, parking lots, and strip mall centers. I have not a problem with "big business" and not a problem with industrialized cities. However, I just hardly understand why nature cannot be an element of all this.
For instance, the price to add parking lots and concrete walkways is astronomical. It does nothing for curb appeal and eliminates existing nature that could be developed. Imagine if businesses invested more in landscaping, water fountains, colorful plants, and bird baths. Imagine the beauty and charm of the entrance that would accompany these efforts.
As a consumer, I look for the small efforts that ultimately produce more respect to the businesses I invest with. When I enter an office building and discover a tiered indoor fountain or perhaps a wall fountain, I am impressed. When I pull as much as a commercial business and find out a bronze statue, that's been installed and maintained, I am impressed.
Ironically, perth landscaping don't believe that I am alone. People are interested in organic beauty, not commercialized stone walkways and lifeless retaining walls. Adding just a little color, a little life, and a little glamour goes quite a distance for everyone's pocketbook.
Just as my parents would not want the effort and the obligation of taking care of a dog, apparently many companies don't need the effort and responsibility of caring for nature. How can we, as consumers, ensure that they would like to manage our needs also?
Children and teens around the globe will undoubtedly resent their parents for one reason or some other, in the same way I did for losing the experience of having a childhood pet. However, businesses cannot risk customers resenting their insufficient awareness of the best thing about nature. If so, the outcome may leave many CEOs peeved.
