Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving, dedicated parents. He is the son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. The divine grace of her mother was passed on to her son early.

The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. Reverend Ken is Ken's brother , and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is the director at the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. This organization houses a variety of gospel artists who are top-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon chose to follow in her father's footsteps in sharing God's Word with the world. Also known as CSO (Community Service Organization), she is a skilled gospel artist and is a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies in Edo College. After a scholarship was awarded to study architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) and he earned an BSc degree in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He is also an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he discovered his calling to serve the Lord and go into ministry.

While in the university, the Man of God started what would later be the largest church worldwide. It began as an uninvolved group of believers called 'Youth For Christ'. The LoveWorld ministry was established under the direction of Pastor Chris. It is a pioneer in satellite television, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel that broadcasts 24/7 from Africa via free-to -air networks. There are LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks across the globe.
