Chris Oyakhilome Biography. The man, the mentor, the teacher , and the Philanthropist

Pastor of faith, faith healer author, and television host, Chris Oyakhilome, known by his followers as Pastor Chris is the president and founder of LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy, which is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique method of interpreting God's Word has inspired thousands of people around the globe.

Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a religious family with loving, dedicated parents. He was the oldest of four children born to the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina who is the mother of the Oyakhilome family, who imparted her divine grace on her son from a young age.

The LoveWorld ministry is comprised of all members of the family. Chris Oyakhilome Reverend Ken is Ken's older brother and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. The LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry houses a variety of gospel artists that are the top-selling across the world.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow her father's example of sharing the Gospel of God with the world and is also known as CSO, she is a talented, award-winning gospel singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied in Edo College. He then was awarded a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. While at Ambrose Ali University, he received a call from God to go into the ministry and become an obedient servant of the Lord.

Pastor Chris: The Mentor
The Man of God who was still a student at university started what would eventually become one of the most influential churches in the world. A small prayer group known as Youth for Christ’ was established. It would evolve into one of the largest and most popular groups on campus. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions with the foundation of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.

Under Pastor Chris's guidance, under Pastor Chris's direction, the LoveWorld ministry became an innovator in satellite television and Christian television production and programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station broadcast from Africa to the rest of the world, 24 hours a day, all the time on free-to-air channels. There are LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks all over the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria and also South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The ministry also runs two Healing School located in South Africa, Canada and the US, where Pastor Chris runs sessions throughout the year, in which miracles are possible.

Music and Gospel Music play an integral element of worship. Pastor Chris is a strong advocate for Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir in their training. A lot of these vocalists have been successful as soloists under the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's supervision.

The Future African Leaders Foundation is focused on the ongoing work of Pastor Chris. Its goal is to discover and train young, talented leaders. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Internet (COFI), an international non-profit organisation. The organization's goal is to aid the most vulnerable individuals and communities in some areas and countries all over the world.

The Man, God, has created a number of NGOs with the aim to provide essential services and hope. COFI's five partners all have the same objective: to improve living standards and enhance the quality of life in the poorest regions.

Under the auspices of COFI are the InnerCity Mission (ICM) for children The Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and the Bible For All Mission. Each organization works to improve the health, lives and spirits of those in need.

His charity provides food and shelter for those in need. Pastor Chris believes that strong communities are fostered by COFI and The InnerCity Mission.
