Once upon a time, there was a very rich merchant. He had 3 daughters; Marigold , Dressalinda, and the last was Belle. They lived in a very beautiful city in a beautiful palace, they had so many servants and delicious food. All their food were served on gold and silver dishes and their gowns were made of the richest materials, swen with jewels.

Marigold and Dressalinda never did their , everyday they would just go to parties, hung out with their rich colleagues. But Belle was different from both of them, she liked to accompany their father at home, she even did all the homework everyday without complains.

One day, they got bad news. Bad fortune landed on them. The merchant ships that were sailing and loaded with valuable goods were wrecked. In one day ,they found out that their father was no longer the richest merchant in the city, but a very poor man. They moved to another cottage soon after that.

They were living in poverty, their life was broken down but for Belle she still had happiness deep inside her heart. Being the opposite of Belle, her 2 older sisters lived a miserable life. They blamed their father for all this misfortune .

One day their father went outside looking for a job to provide his family but then he got lost in the woods and he reached a huge castle. He went inside. Seeing nobody inside, he decided to spend the night there. The next morning, he woke up and left the castle. But, when he was leaving the castle ,he saw beautiful roses in the garden.

He thought of her lovely daughter, Belle, and he plucked one. Suddenly, a horrible beast showed behind him and screamed at him for stealing from his garden. The merchant was scared and the he explained why he plucked the roses, he said he wanted to give the roses to her daughter as a gift.

The beast couldn’t handle his anger, he would let him go if he promised to send Belle to stay with him. The merchant fearfully agreed. After that, he arrived home, as soon as he arrived he told Belle the whole story sorrowfully. Belle put her worried father to rest and went to the castle to meet the beast.

She was scared of the beast at first, but in a few days she realized that the beast was kind and gentle. One day, in the magic mirror gifted by the beast, Belle saw that her father was terribly ill. Beast who couldn’t see her sadness let her go home. Belle went home and took care of her father. And,under her care her father quickly recovered.

One day she was thinking of the beast, so she decided to see into the magic mirror. She saw that the beast was in a bad condition. She immediately went to the castle to meet him. The Beast was growling in the pain but he was glad to see her back again. She held him and sobbed and told him that she loved him and kissed him softly.

At that very instant, the beast changed into a handsome prince. Belle was surprised, the prince explained that her sweet words had broken the spell that was put on him by a witch. They got married soon after that, and lived happily ever after!
