Bring along your tablet, laptop, or sometimes your smartphone packed with videos when camping with your loved ones.

This is something that I learned the hard way. My mom was always there to remind me to be ready for anything. I told her only my excitement of going on the first camping trip of my life with my kids and grandkids. And here she was talking and puffing out tips and instructions for every situation. My mom's talk is fine for me, but listening to her lecture makes it uncomfortable. I was trying to finish the job faster than I should. And that was a big error, as I've found out the following day... or two..

We took our car with us and drove to the camping site. I was determined to recreate the same rural experience as my father, so I chose one remote location that turned out be in a large zone that was not accessible to service. Our smartphones weren't working, and we were completely alone and there was no other camping party in sight. I'm sorry. I had hoped for to have a great time off from at work.. 3 days in the wild, in nature.. After 24 hours of our camping adventure, we were returning to the car.

What happened next? There was no Internet and we didn't have bars, we didn't have anything... I had a laptop and handful of games online. The laptop didn't make it out of my bag. I had prepared a backdrop for the trees to let them see the projector that I brought with my laptop. I was unable to access Hulu or Netflix and it was hard to endure their presence. They wanted to stay up to speed with their schoolwork and check their email and even send me messages. We packed and made our way back. When we came out of the wifi-free zone my kids made noises almost identical to little piglets eating delicious food items... Since then, I have been able to prepare myself and not to get stuck in an area that is internet-free without any roaming. While on a long journey by boat to the destination, we required our best friends. Two laptops and two tablets were packed with Hulu video offline downloads, Netflix movies and show on one device and every music video I had on the second. I also was able to access the Windows app store, which includes both Hulu apps and Netflix apps. I have more than 600 hours of material to watch and the complete episodes from South Park, Friends, Will & Grace and Friends seasons.

I have many funny videos for children. I downloaded some YouTube music videos and converted them into MP3 and MP4 formats. I found this web app that lets me download videos directly onto my laptop. This allows me to watch the videos offline any time I want, as long as I have power. I record a variety of TV shows or movies and even seminars online. The video files are saved as MP4 to my computer. I can then open them up later using VLC or KMP.

Another thing I insist on is 4k. Have you ever seen? It's amazing! I truly recommend. There is great software in new TVs that support 4k image. It processes the picture and enhances it. It also upscales it and makes it more appealing. Although the original video may not be very great, thanks to its blocky, squarish recording but the TV makes it look stunning and provides a contemporary, smooth video flow. Highly recommended to everyone, girls and boys alike.
