It is recommended to bring tablets, laptops, and sometimes even smartphones with video content to take camping with the kids.

This is something that I have had to learn the hard way. My mom was there for me the entire week instructing me to plan and keep in mind that. I was thrilled about my first camping trip with her grandkids and mom, but she was constantly giving me advice on what to do. I don’t mind my mom’s speaking. However, listening to her lectures can make things uncomfortable. Therefore, I attempted to finish it quicker than I needed to. This was a mistake. I discovered it the hard way.

We set off with our vehicle to drive the car all up to the camping site. To recreate the environment my father experienced earlier in his life, I chose an undiscovered spot that was, as it turned out to be later, was no longer in service. It meant our smartphones were out-of-service and we were basically the only camping in the area. Don't blame me, I was expecting to have a wonderful time off from work, 3 days out there in the nature in the wilderness, enjoying nature.. We returned in the car on the return journey 24 hours into the camping excursion..


What was the situation? There were no bars or Internet access or even nothing. I had packed my laptop along with a few online games. online youtube downloader However, it was difficult to remove it from the bag. I had prepared a background for the trees so that they could view the projector that I brought with my laptop. I was unable to access Hulu or Netflix and it was difficult to bear their presence. They wanted to stay on top of their school work, check their emails, and even send me messages. We packed up our bags and headed back because I couldn't bear the thought any more. My children made sounds that resembled to tiny piglets sucking delicious food when they emerged from the wifi-less zone. But it was just embarrassing, they squealed and moaned as their phones started ringing and signalling incoming text messages and emails.

Since then, I have developed a better understanding of how to be prepared and avoid getting stuck in an internet-less area without any roaming. While on a long trip on the boat to get to our destination, we had to have our best friends. Two tablets and a laptop were packed with Hulu offline video downloads, Netflix movies and show on one, and every music video I had on the other. I also was able to access the Windows app store, which includes both Hulu apps as well as Netflix apps. I have about 600 hours of watching materials which includes the complete Will & Grace, Friends and South Park seasons and added episodes.

I have a lot of videos that are funny for kids. I downloaded a few Youtube music videos and converted a few to mp3 format. A few of the videos I downloaded help this web app, it lets me get videos directly downloaded to my laptop, and then I can stream it anytime offline, with no Internet I just need some electricity, if you need to recharge. I DVR many TV Shows as well as seminars, films, and movies on the internet. The video files are stored in the format MP4 on my computer. I then simply open them up later using VLC or KMP.

4k is another thing I insist on. Have you seen? It's incredible! I would highly recommend. Televisions with 4K resolution have excellent software built in which can process the image and improve the quality of it. The TV transforms old footage into something much more. Highly recommended to all both boys and girls!
