Alright, a little backstory for you all.
Ashton's old teach, from when he was a kid, was him, his dads, his brother, and another family- younger orphaned boys found by one of his fathers, a recruiter. (the Leo.) They all get along well, at first, and Ashton even finds himself falling for Oliver, a Pieces. Later on we find that ATL's Teach captured and killed Oliver when he was fifteen. Ashton was only sixteen at the time. Doing without thinking, Ashton rashly decides to join a group of outcast Virgos in search of a new Teach. He tries to take Harry with him, but his dads refuse. Ashton throws a temper tantrum and leaves. We learn how he gets to know his new family (First they meet Louis, and for Liam, it's basically love at first sight. Zayn is next, and no one can stand him at first. He grows on them, though. Cal they meet a little later, and Ashton's unnerved by him. We also find out that this is because of jealousy- Calum's a lot smarter than he is. They met Luke only a day after Calum, when Calum saved him from a different crazy Teach.) and friends. He trains in being a Cancer, and improves amazingly when Luke arrives. Ashton learns a ton, and we see that Calum is beginning to become desperate for an heir.
If you couldn't tell, that's the reason for Ashton always being sentimental around even mentioning any Pisces. Ciao!
