Take Your Cat Camping
Flowers: No vacation is complete without decoration and in some cases designs consist of flowers. If you have toxic flowers in your house, keep in mind to position them really high where you feline can not reach them. Some of the most popular flowers that are harmful to your family pet include bleeding hearts, calla lilies, poinsettias, daffodils, Easter lilies, irises, ivies, tulips (the bulb part), and a variety of other plants. Most felines will not head out of their way to consume these things, but to be on the safe side, put them in a location where your cat will not reach them. Better yet, don't bring those flowers into your house at all or select fake plastic versions. There are lots of kinds of plants that can hurt your cat, so contact your vet to make certain before bringing new kinds of plants into your house.

For my feline Mittens, those were all chosen areas at one time or the other, that is until I got her a feline basket. I positioned it in her preferred corner, included an old towel for cushioning, and in the beginning she disregarded it.
