Watsu: The Origin Of Chiropractic Warts
If you asked an unprofessional practitioner of Asian bodywork what the distinction between massage and watsu is there could be some confusion and maybe even wrongly-guided suggestions on how to practice watsu. The differences between the two are distinct. It is important to know the distinctions between the different kinds of watsu before deciding to begin your own practice.

Watsu is also known under the names Japanese Shiatsu or Watsu massage. It is a kind of bodywork therapy that employs hands-on techniques primarily for stretching deep and passive stretching. Watsu is typically performed in private sessions with a practitioner or therapist who gently massages the body, manipulates, or stretches, or gently rubs the receiver in warm, body-confessed water. The goal is to unclog energetic channels, eliminate tension from the body and restore flexibility, ease stiffness, and also relieve the receiver of tension.

Unlike most types of bodywork that are therapeutic, watsu doesn't focus on a specific area of the body. This gentle bodywork uses fingers and hands of practitioners to treat different muscle groups. This kind of treatment is often described as a gentle massage , without the stress and pressure of massage therapy. Some practitioners combine manipulation and touch to get the desired results. However, the majority of practitioners focus on a hands-on approach and only use warm, soothing water and music if needed.

Watsu is different from traditional Japanese treatment, does not focus on the causes of the illness. Instead it focuses on the effects of the illness. In other words, instead of focusing on the problem in itself, the treatment focuses on relieving the patient's tension and stress through gentle and focused stretching and manipulation. Patients experience a decrease in pain and an improved ability to control their breathing and heart rate. This helps them live more active and a fulfilling life. Patients who undergo treatment for watsu can expect to release tension, restore motion range and improve flexibility and muscle strength, and experience deep relaxation, as well as the release of tension and mental stress.

Most people who undergo Watsu are taught both water therapy and watsu at the same time. That is, they usually receive an exercise program in which time they engage in both activities to build their physical bodies and minds. Sessions can be casual and short, lasting only a few moments at a time or up to an hour. Participants in aquatic bodywork , such as watsu may be offered stretching and relaxation techniques in between sessions. They may also be given massage treatments that only target the soft tissues and muscles of the body, like acupressure and Swedish massage. Watsu sessions can also include herbal teas.

Based on descriptions of traditional Chinese medicine, watsu (the medical term for this type of treatment) is part of a larger field called "Majja" or "Bodywork." Like shiatsuand wabi, wabi believed to help maintain a balance of chi or qi in the body. Wabi is done by trained therapists who employ their hands and feet to apply pressure on specific areas of the body. This is in contrast to the practice of shiatsu, or other forms of bodywork.

There are many variations of watsu. Some therapists are considered "chiros," while others are considered to be Reiki masters. According to the early 1980s reiki council, the major differences between shiatsu & Watsu is in the way they offer healing energy as well as the emphasis on breath control and the balancing. Western medical schools are now beginning to recognize the benefits of reiki to the western medical profession. There is a growing appreciation for this ancient form of alternative health care. There are more than twenty Reiki schools accessible across the globe.

Reiki was first taught to the world of westerners in the year 2021 by Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese Christian minister who was studying a version of eastern medicine for years. 출장안마,출장마사지 His teachings quickly spread across Japan, where many westerners were amazed by the natural, gentle method of healing. Today thousands of people across the world continue to study and practice the art of reiki. Reiki is not just popular with westerners, but also in the eastern nations like China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. People are more interested in the incorporation of reiki into their daily lives because of the increased exposure.
